Hey Penguin-Friends, yesterday morning the official end for CP began when Disney Interactive fired more than 30 CP employees in Kelowna and Los Angeles and the office in Brighton was completely shut down. This means that team favorites Daffodaily5 and Chattabox have also been laid-off.

One of the laid-off employee says staff were told membership numbers are way down and that Club Penguin is not doing well.

Disney Interactive released the following statement to Castanet.net:

“Disney Interactive continually looks to find ways to create efficiencies and streamline our operations. As part of this ongoing process, we are consolidating a small number of teams and are undergoing a targeted reduction in workforce.”

This proves us once again that CP, is not doing well. They lost approximately $20,000 USD back in December when 1 week memberships were hacked and raffled on twitter.

CP has been going down since 2013, when the infamous commercial "Takeovers" started, we've had at least one Marvel, Monsters University, Star Wars, Teen Beach Movie, Muppets, Frozen, etc, IN TWO YEARS! This kind of parties was not enjoyed by the community and continued making them, this month for example we're having a Frozen Fever takeover, can anyone explain how can CP make a whole party about an 8 minute short? HOW? The answer is, not listening to the community. Since 2014 there have been tons of request for a Candy Party, but, we haven't got it, have we? There's one huge mistake Disney Interactive has made with CP, they still have not noticed that CP is a game, not a business. What do takovers bring to CP, I guess they don't bring fun since community doesn't ask for them! They Bring MONEY! Disney hasn't noticed that the more money they get form takeovers, the least they get from memberships. Why have penguins cancelled memberships? Simple answer: CP is not fun anymore! When penguins started cancelling memberships CP started loosing money and putted all of they're effort in apps they hoped would bring money back, however it didn't.... Do you know ONE person that has bought a Sled Racer Power Up? I don't! CP hopes their loyal fan base will keep them on float, but they've forgotten that even their most loyal fan can get bored.

Back in February for the first time since 2005 the term "Clubpenguin Tracker" was not goggled a single time! Why was this?

CP is dying and we most face it! Some well known bloggers are now long way gone... Unless Disney does something, CP won't reach 2020....
